Clay and Chynna Rigdon, together with their children Levi, Thea, Adrian, and Eden, share a deep love for serving others and living out their faith as a family. Clay currently serves as Pastor of Worship and Arts at Jones Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL, where he has faithfully led worship and ministry teams for several years. Both Clay and Chynna have a deep desire to follow God’s calling on their lives and to serve wherever He leads.
Chynna felt the call to missions at a young age and has carried that passion into adulthood. Clay has served in ministry in various capacities since high school and continues to seek ways to use his gifts for God’s glory. In August of 2025, Clay traveled to Costa Rica on a short-term mission trip and felt a clear calling from the Lord to serve the community in Horquetas. While at home, Chynna prayed that God would prepare her heart for whatever Clay might share upon his return. When Clay came home and expressed the burden God had placed on his heart, she immediately felt peace and unity about the calling. Two months later, the Rigdons returned to Costa Rica together, where Chynna also fell in love with the people, community, and culture.
The Rigdon family now feels led to pursue full-time ministry in Costa Rica through 6:8 Ministries. They humbly ask for your prayers as they prepare for this next step of faith.
