About us

Our story

Our ministry began with a chance encounter only God could orchestrate: a politician, a prostitute, a cripple, and a beggar, all at the same table. It was at that moment Spencer—soldier, youth pastor, and future missionary—heard God’s calling to Costa Rica.

From day one, our ministry was built on relationships, as Spencer went door to door asking how he could help people. Twenty years later, God has grown our ministry to reach across the nation, living out our faith through humanitarian efforts. Our connection with the local people allows us to reach them in an authentic and loving way, as we believe the Gospel moves at the speed of relationships.

From our children’s discipleship program to our feeding centers, we aim to meet physical and spiritual needs, encouraging those we serve and those who serve with us to examine their own relationship with their faith. We go forth boldly, charging in faith towards the people to whom we are called.
