My name is Scarleth. Our family fled Nicaragua and its troubles, after which our small family became homeless in Costa Rica. The 6:8 Ministries Feeding Center in Alajuelita became our lifeline. The ministry later provided work for my husband in Horquetas and, when he struggled with alcohol, facilitated his 3-month rehabilitation. Now we serve the Lord together, grateful for God’s guidance through this ministry. I used to work long hours laboring in fields, but it hardly provided for my family due to childcare costs. Crafting bracelets now offers a better way to support my family and our needs.
