Where It All Began
Serving the city of Alajuelita for twenty years.
In 2006, Spencer Boulter moved his family to the city of Alajuelita, Costa Rica, and began serving families by going door-to-door to build authentic relationships within the community. What started as simple conversations and shared meals has grown into a vibrant ministry, yet the heart remains the same—relational ministry rooted in love, service, and presence. Today, that same spirit continues to guide every effort, whether through feeding centers, community outreach, or hands-on work projects.
6:8 Ministries is deeply woven into the fabric of Alajuelita. From hosting a homeless church and feeding center, to offering English classes and nurturing a blossoming children’s ministry, our work reflects a commitment to meeting both physical and spiritual needs. With a three-story team house located just minutes from the city center, we are well-positioned to welcome mission teams and continue serving side by side with our neighbors. Here, ministry isn’t just about programs—it’s about living life together in the heart of the community.
