Rob and Hope Gresham, together with their children Carstin and Jackson, share a deep love for serving others, strengthening the local church, and living out their faith as a family. Rob has served as a pastor at City Life Church in Charleston, SC, for the past five years, where he leads discipleship, groups, prayer ministry, and missions. Hope serves as a middle school and high school teacher at Classical Christian Collaborative and is also a certified Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist. Both Rob and Hope have a deep desire to follow God’s calling on their lives and to serve wherever He leads.
Rob and Hope met in Albany, Georgia, while Rob was serving on Young Life staff and Hope was serving as a volunteer leader. From the beginning, their relationship was rooted in a shared love for Jesus, ministry, and helping others encounter the hope of the gospel. Over the years, that calling has continued to shape their marriage, family, and ministry. Their daughter, Carstin, is 26, lives in Cullowhee, NC and enjoys writing music and singing. Their son, Jackson, is 16. Jackson loves soccer and has developed a heart for serving alongside 6:8 Ministries in Costa Rica.
Through multiple short-term mission trips and partnership with 6:8 Ministries, the Gresham family has grown deeply connected to the people, churches, and communities of Costa Rica. As they have served children, families, local leaders, and neighborhoods, God has continued to stir in their hearts a greater burden for long term mission work. Their time in Costa Rica has strengthened their desire to serve the Lord, support the local church, and be part of what God is doing among the people there.
The Gresham family now feels led to pursue full-time ministry in Costa Rica through 6:8 Ministries. They humbly ask for your prayers as they prepare for this next step of faith.
